About This Course
Speakers: ASLP Hetal Parekh-Modi (SLP/Speech Therapist) and Dr. Neha Uikey (Pediatric Occupational Therapist/OT)
Activities of Daily Living need not be pushed till the child is around puberty. It should be started alongside mastering and developing basic skills that children learn through a combination of speech, language and occupational therapy.
It helps the child utilise the skills in real world and improve environmental awareness as well as safety. The two speakers here provide a wide range of examples that parents can utilize in daily life to build essential skills of independence.
