Course Objectives: This course looks at the new age problem: online form of service in speech therapy. While there are very obvious advantages of delivering speech therapy through the online/video call mode (including issues with travelling, advantage of the crucial early period, regular parent training within time constraints, etc) there are a host of issues given the clinician is not able to see and observe the child through free play and the bond/interaction with care givers. This course highlights a series of these common issues and best ways of circumventing these to continue with ethical practices and deliver optimal benefit for the child and family.
