Case Discussion Series #15 || Ft. Ms. Pooja Kewalramani, MASLP

Ms. Pooja Kewalramani, MASLP explains her work with a child diagnosed with complete blindness at birth. Intervened late at 7years of age with significant issues in oral motor functions, language, cognition and speech production, this little star shows tremendous improvement in all domains. He has further picked up Braille to further his literacy concepts. Ms. Pooja here stresses on the need for repetitive practice, parental training and motivation to further help the child. A fantastic presentation highlighting the privilege that few SLPs have in working with children with multiple issues/disabilities, supporting language, speech, cognition and quality of life!
