An extraordinarily built study, complete with new design of stories to fit the Indian context, validated and then precise training methods delivered, this random control trial took over two years to complete. This study highlights various language intervention strategies that be used with children on the Autism Spectrum to improve metalinguistic and metacognitive studies. The value of a well designed RCT lies in its results and in this case undoubtable results that these language intervention techniques will help in improvement of literal information as well as improve understanding of inferential information.
The author further discusses the neurodiversity affirming visual mapping that can be used across scenarios to avail best benefits for language improvement.
