The conversation is in Marathi and aimed at helping spread awareness in both urban and rural communities in Maharashtra about hearing loss and it’s timely and correct treatment. This interview and discussion is aimed to improve and increase awareness of the public to avail proper testing and treatment when a hearing loss is suspected. As against an adult with hearing loss, children do not have language and speech and hearing is the most important sense for its development. In this awareness podcast, Ms. Sawani Godbole talks about a variety of testing methods, hearing aids, cochlear implants, what appears like a hearing loss but could be a inattention issue.
