Ms. Moumita Hati, MASLP, CCC-SLP USA describes dysphagia intervention through the critical hospital stay along with cuff deflation. Bedside assessments for safe swallow and stimulation of the swallow are aptly described by her followed by language rehabilitation for Aphasia as well. Activities with goals are well put in the hierarchy of language difficulty for language rehabilitation. Ms.Hati also expertly explains that counseling the family for maximal involvement is the best form of long term intervention for the individual’s motivation and support.
